Little Christiana looks bigger in photos, she’s actually just a small girl (around 10kg) and is one of the friendliest dogs that we have in our care!

Christiana was found in a horrible condition by a good friend who asked for our help. Constantina took her in as a foster as she needed special care and food. She was very thin and had wounds on her little body. She’s a strong girl though and soon put on weight and healed. A blood analysis showed that she was Leish positive, but she has received the treatment successfully and we will repeat her blood analysis before she is rehomed to make sure that her levels remain good.

Christiana loves people, she loves cuddles and she adores belly rubs. She’s been child tested and she thinks small people make excellent belly rub slaves so she’d happily live with them! She also gets on with other dogs, sharing her space with many dogs while in foster with Constantina and sharing her kennel with her little friend Petal at the Nicosia sanctuary.

This gorgeous girl is active and super smart! In the past she might have been trained as a rat catcher. She will need plenty of exercise and stimulation to keep her busy. She’ll be great fun to train and work with because she’s so clever and so eager to please.
