Amy is a stunning Segugio cross with that distinctive fox-red colouring.

She was found near the sanctuary during hunting season – undoubtedly abandoned by a hunter – and came under our care on January 5th. We all fell in love with her instantly!

Amy is extremely affectionate with everyone that she meets. She will gaze into your eyes and melt into you for the most wonderful cuddles. One of our sanctuary visitors said they could imagine her making a great emotional support dog.

But Amy is also a playful and fun young dog. She made friends with another dog at the sanctuary of a similar age and size (Evie) and they play beautifully together. They play tug of war and chase and both dogs are respectful and nicely behaved. Amy could definitely join a home with another resident dog.

We’re so happy that this gorgeous girl was found, saved and brought to us. We can’t wait to see her settled in a home and enjoying the life she deserves.
