About Freya
Freya is such a happy, playful and sweet little dog!
This lovely dog is yet another one of those cases where you can’t help but wonder why they end up in a pound and then with us…. the usual unanswerable question. She’s such a great little dog and we have no doubt that she’s going to be very loved by her forever family.
At only 18 months old, Freya is still very puppy-like. She loves to play with toys and is “almost” fetching the ball. She’s not quite bringing it back to us, but she’s very close 😂 She does a beautiful sit while she waits for the ball to be thrown as well which she may have been taught at some point. She usually does a little dance on her back legs first, mind. But always followed by a very smart sit!
While the sanctuary is so full, Freya shares a kennel with her friend Sam. The two dogs get on well and we’re sure that (with careful introductions) Freya could join a home with another resident dog. She’d definitely enjoy a playful, active playmate.
Freya has been child tested and was very friendly with the small people. She loves toys and playing which always goes down well with children. She also loves a cuddle, though she can be a little bit wriggly in her enthusiasm 😅 She also does some mouthing in her excitement which we are working on.
