When we were asked by a good friend and animal lover to help her rescue a Springer Spaniel in need we agreed. She had been tagged in a post about a Springer found as a stray with no microchip. No one came forward to claim him and our suspicion is that he is yet another abandoned hunting dog.

On January 16th lovely Leo joined us at the sanctuary and we all fell in love with him.

Leo is a typical happy, wiggly waggly springer spaniel. Springers love their humans and make excellent family pets. Even better if you’re outdoorsy and love long walks and play. They are clever, loyal and trainable dogs and are known for being loving and eager to please.

When we have visitors to the sanctuary Leo is in his element. He loves nothing more than being surrounded by people giving him love, attention and belly rubs. He’s an absolutely delightful dog who just loves everyone!

There’s really not that much to say about this lovely boy! He’s going to make his adopters very happy and we look forward to seeing him living his best life!
