About Maya & Drogo

These two beauties are looking to be rehomed together. We’ve done it before and we hope that we can do it again as they are very attached to one another.

Maya and Drogo were surrendered to us by their owner who was unable to keep them due to a change in circumstances.

Drogo, the boy, is 5 and Maya, the girl, is 6 years old. They have been together since they were puppies. Drogo, is the white one and is taller than his sister but Maya is a stronger personality and it’s Drogo that would most suffer if the two were separated. Drogo is an easy, sweet boy. He’s gentle, polite and affectionate. Maya also has a very sweet nature. She’s a clever dog, a good judge of character and she will learn fast.

Maya and Drogo lived with young children in their former home and they respected them. However, because we know how much exercise this breed requires, both physical and spiritual, they won’t be given for adoption to homes with young children. However, if children visit the home, the dogs are familiar with them. They are definitely NOT cat friendly.

Both dogs are neutered and in good health. Drogo is on medication for epilepsy. However, the dose is low and his episodes are mild and few and far between.

Maya and Drogo should not be in Cyprus. The temperatures here are already beginning to rise and they will suffer at the sanctuary this summer. We are hoping that we can get them onto a freedom flight before the real summer heat begins
