This puppy is the sweetest, most cheerful, gentlest girl! We just adore her

Tara was picked up as a stray by a municipality who asked us to take her in. Although bursting at the seams we didn’t like the thought of a puppy ending up in a municipal pound and we agreed to make space for her.

She has settled in very quickly at the sanctuary. She loves people and seems to really love other dogs as well. When she’s out into the yard she goes from kennel to kennel trying to make friends with all of the other dogs, wagging enthusiastically all the time!

Tara has met visitors to the sanctuary, including children, and she loved everyone. They also loved her – she’s affectionate, calm and very sociable.

Although she’s definitely a Heinz57 breed-wise, she has the colouring, coat and tail of a shepherd cross. She certainly has the intelligence and steadiness of a GSD. She really is a very lovely dog!

Tara is still a puppy and will adapt quickly to a new environment. Hopefully she won’t have to wait too long to start her new, better life in a loving home!
