There’s something special about these black pointer crosses….. they always seem to be calm, sweet-natured and gentle dogs. And let’s not forget beautiful!
Yakinthi is no exception to the “rule”, she’s such a lovely dog!

A young couple living in a village in the Nicosia district were caring for Yakinthi, Brownie and her puppy Iris as best they could. But the dogs were being abused and chased in the village and they were struggling to keep them safe. Constantina responded to their desperate post and said that we would help.

Yakinthi, Brownie and the puppy Iris shared a kennel to begin with until we were had space. It’s a testament to her gentle nature that the three dogs were able to cohabit so nicely, even with a playful puppy chewing on her ears!

Pointers are beautiful, intelligent and loyal dogs. Yakinthi loves people and is very affectionate. She’s going to make a wonderful addition to any family. We’re also confident that, with careful introduction, she could join a home with another resident dog.
