Zelda
About Zelda
Pocket Pointer Zelda has been in her foster home in Limassol for over a year and has improved so much, given how nervous and scared she was. We think she’s likely to have seen the not so nice side of humans which has caused her to be wary but with patience, a lot of love and treats, her foster family have won her over and we know she is ready for the next steps. She is
now looking for a patient and kind forever or foster home in the UK.
Zelda is smaller than you think, she’s only 40cm tall and weighs around 13kg. She has spent time with other dogs and puppies at her foster home and gets on really well with them. A resident dog would be amazing for Zelda to help her continue to build her confidence and preferable but is not necessarily a must.
Her ideal home would be a home who has the time to build a relationship with her and show her the wonderful side of human kind. She also finds joy in running around in the garden so a garden is a must for this little pocket rocket. She loves a zoomie or two!
Zelda has transformed from a dog who would cower and hide in the puppy pen to approaching her foster mum and asking for a massage and lots of love. If you met her a year ago, you would not believe it was the same dog. We think if someone is able to put the time and effort into Zelda that she will bloom into the lovable, confident dog, we know she can be.
Like any of our dogs, she will need to be trained the basics such as toilet training and shown how to walk on lead. Given Zelda is highly food motivated, we think this will definitely help.
If you are interested in Zelda, please get in touch. SPDC can offer support every step of the way to any special family who are ready to support Zelda with her ever growing confidence.
