Copy of April's story
Back in 2014, after losing our previous dog, we were ready to give a home to another. We struggled with English rescues and the unrealistic hoops they wanted us to jump through, they made it impossible for us to adopt.
Searching for an alternative and not wanting to buy from a breeder, we stumbled across SPDC online. After sending a message asking about the charity and if they had any dogs suiting our criteria and if we fitted there's, we were thrilled to receive a couple of candidates. We fell in love with one, our April.
The volunteers sent us all we needed to know about April, we got pictures, videos and lots of updates, we felt we knew her already! After a home check and some form filling, April flew from Cyprus to gatwick airport where we picked her up and took her home.
To say this is the best thing we ever did would be an understatement, she is a brilliant dog and we couldn't love her any more than we already do! SPDC are a great charity and we can't thank them enough for all their hard work and for our April.
