About Bobby
Bobby was rescued in Cyprus when Constantina heard that he had been found with a very badly broken front leg. She knew that this boy would need all the help that he could get. We paid for the operation to implant a metal plate into his leg. The broken bone then fused and the plate was removed. Bobby’s scar is still healing but his leg is strong and he doesn’t even limp.
At the Nicosia Sanctuary he was known to be an absolute gentleman. He went out with other dogs and was always calm and friendly. We flew this gorgeous boy to a UK foster home at the end of September and he has continued to thrive in his foster home with his GSP foster sister.
Bobby’s foster mum confirmed our opinion of him and says that he is “the sweetest boy and a gentle soul”. Everything was new to him in his new home (like stairs and the TV) and some things made him a little nervous, but he took his cues from the resident dog, Cherry and got braver every day.
Bobby sleeps in the bedroom in a crate at night and sleeps right through without a peep – he does enjoy a little morning snooze on the bed in the morning though! He loves to be outside (although he isn’t a fan of rain! Something else to get used to)
Bobby likes a fuss and will come and place his front legs on his foster mum and give her a little nudge to let her know when it’s cuddle time. He loves to be close and will happily stay snuggled up for ages.
He plays really nicely with his foster sister Cherry – both love a game of bitey face and chase. And he loves the trips to the secure field where he can charge around.
Bobby’s foster mum is happy to speak with any potential adopters to give more information about this lovely boy!
