About Sky
Sky and his three brothers were dumped on a remote road near the sanctuary in February, the coldest and wettest time of year. Whoever abandoned them didn't care if they lived or died... they were lucky!
From the condition that they were in, we can be sure that they were being kept in very poor conditions. They were under-nourished, filthy and fearful.
To see them now, you wouldn't guess that they were the same dogs. They're flourishing under our care and are now what they should be... Happy, healthy, playful puppies.
Sky and his brother Solly are both mostly white with striking blue eyes. The other two brothers are brown. We believe them to be Shepherds, perhaps Greek mixed with German. We can't know for sure, but we do think that they will grow to be big dogs.
The litter are remarkably calm and gentle puppies. They are being very well socialised with other dogs at the sanctuary and they interact really well with both adults and other puppies.
Sky is the biggest of the litter and is a little reserved with humans. He's not fearful and is always happy and waggy. He just hasn't always seen the best side of humans and will need a little time to fully relax with his human family.
This gentle pup could definitely join a home with another resident dog. He would benefit from a home with experienced dog owners, preferably with a good size garden.
Sky will mature into a loving, loyal companion. And he is going to he a beautiful boy!
