This sweet Brittany spaniel was abandoned in a school yard. She was full of ticks and had grass seeds even embedded in her gums making it too painful for her to eat 😔

Of course she had no microchip and noone has come forward to claim her. She's now in our care and her lovely, gentle character has us all in love 😍 As always we're blown away by the fact that these amazing creatures remain so loving and trusting despite their clear mistreatment by humans!

LuLu gets on really well with other dogs. She comes out in the yard with a variety of other dogs and could definitely join a home with another resident dog.

LuLu is a quiet, calm dog.... so far at least 😁 She's comfortable around people and loves attention. She's definitely a spaniel though and is often very busy following her nose around in the yard just... "spanielling"

Brittany spaniels often have no tail (or a very short stub) because they are either born with a natural bobtail or have their tails surgically docked. LuLu has no tail and may well have been born that way, we can't be sure. However, she exhibits no signs of any problems associated with a very short dock so we do think it may be natural.

This sweet dog will make an excellent family dog. As a working breed, she'll need plenty of exercise and stimulation, but she's also very affectionate and eager to please 😊
