This sweet, gentle boy loves cuddles!

On the 7th of May we went to a village outside of Nicosia to pick up a female dog that was living as a stray. We had seen a Facebook post about her that suggested that she might have been made pregnant and we didn’t want to waste any time.

It didn’t take us long to locate Ida, the stray dog that we’d gone to collect, but she had a friend with her – Hans. So our 1 dog rescue quickly became a 2 dog rescue. Every single kennel at the sanctuary was full and we really shouldn’t have been out picking up more stray dogs… but needs must!

We took Hans and Ida to private kennels to be cared for until we had space for them at the sanctuary. They are now safely with us and are still the best of friends!

Hans is a sweetheart! A really gentle boy who really loves attention and cuddles. He has the softest eyes and he melts your heart with his loving gaze.

This handsome hound looks like a beagle/Greek hound cross. He is the typical size and shape of small beagle and has those lovely big rounded beagle ears. He gets on with other dogs and with the right introduction could join a home with another resident dog.

Hans is ready to find his family. He’s going to be a loving and loyal companion to some very lucky people!
