Constantina visited the pound at the beginning of January and (predictably) came back to the sanctuary with 2 dogs. Indie was in a yard with many other dogs and it looked like she was getting a bit too much unwanted attention from males. She’s certainly happy to have her own kennel at the sanctuary!

We think that Indie may have some Vizsla in her mix. The colouring is right but she also has a gentle, affectionate nature and is definitely always up for a cuddle!

Indie came to the sanctuary along with Snow, a pointer cross and they go out into the yard together and play nicely. In contrast to Snow, Indie is a little less energetic, but as she gets used to her surroundings, we’re seeing more of her playful side coming out. She will chase after a ball or toy and run around with her friend. Given the option though, she will always choose human interaction.

Indie is really a lovely dog with a gentle and affectionate nature. From what we’ve seen we think that she’d make a great addition to any family.
