About Lucho
The boy with the biggest smile and the curliest tail!
Lucho was brought to us by the local municipality. He was picked up as a stray and as usual, no microchip and no one came forward to claim him.
What has impressed us about this sweet dog is how quickly he adjusted to life at the sanctuary and how well he gets on with other dogs. Especially if they are playful and like a good bitey-face session!
Even though Lucho was un-neutered when he came to us, he is happy to hang out with both male and female dogs of all descriptions. But his favourite friends are Snow and Indie who will play with him for hours, chewing on each others legs and ears. He’s very happy for the girls to be in charge, just as long as they keep on playing!
For the first day or two Lucho was a little unsure of us humans but that changed very quickly. He’s now friendly and affectionate, even with new people. Although, given the choice he will choose to play with a doggy friend. He would love a home with another resident, playful dog. This isn’t a must though, he’d also be happy as an only dog, meeting his friends in the park.
Lucho seems to us like a lovely, well-balanced dog. He’s quite active, but is also happy to relax in his kennel once he’s been out and had a good play. He’ll happily keep himself busy with a nice chew or a toy.
We really like this handsome dog and we’re sure that his forever family will love him too!
