Roux definitely wins the “most cuddly” award at the sanctuary right now 🤗This boy will climb onto your lap any which way for a cuddle and will proceed to melt onto you. If you like affectionate dogs, this puppy might be for you!

Roux is very well socialised with other dogs and goes out to play with a gang of friends at the sanctuary. True to this lovely breed, he gets on really well with his doggy friends and plays nicely. He shares a kennel with Pixie, a female Segugio puppy. He could definitely join a home with another resident dog.

Equally, Roux would be happy as an only dog getting all of the cuddles from his human cuddle slaves. He is very good natured and playful and would be happy with children and adults alike.

The Bleu De Gascogne are an ancient breed, bred to hunt in packs hence them being very dog-friendly. They would use their incredibly powerful and almost melodious voice to alert other members of the pack as well as the hunter. This is important to know so that you don’t jump out of your skin the first time you hear little Roux “sing” 🎶 Which he will 😁. This wonderful breed are known to be even-keeled, with friendly and pleasant temperaments and baby Roux is no exception. He’s really a lovely pup!
