Vito was a firm favourite with the UK team who visited the sanctuary recently. Especially our youngest team member, Amber.

Despite his size and energy he was incredibly gentle and we are sure could live happily with dog savvy kids.

Vito was initially promoted by a different rescue but when their premises was forced to close down, we offered Vito and his brother a kennel space. Vito is now being promoted for adoption with SPDC.

This beautiful boy gives the best cuddles and really leans into you to make the most of it.

Vito has a wonderful shiny black coat with some brindle markings making him even more striking.

Vito will benefit from an active home preferably with some Shepherd experience. He is a large, smart and strong dog, and although has mastered the most beautiful sit, will still require lead and recall training.

Vito hangs out with his brother, Otto, at the sanctuary and seems mostly unbothered by other dogs but we feel he would like to be the only dog in the home to ensure he receives all the love there is to give.

If you’re a lover of large, cuddly breeds Vito might just be the boy for you!
